![]() The food (and drinks) were perfect and I would give a 5/5 stars if the rating was based upon just that. I'm going to say upfront - the rating is based upon the service we got, not the food. Friendly, informative, efficient, and warm environment and staff. We felt the staff and chef knocked it out of the park! Fortunately, we have a few more days to enjoy our new tradition of Gastrovia 61. We declined dessert as we were tired from touring, but the staff brought us delicate macaroons with raspberry filling as well as a berry cordial drink for our party. My sea bass with carrots was perfect and a balanced sauce. ![]() The sirloins were done perfectly with a foie gras dressing and flambeed followed by a sauce. ![]() We shared and loved the garlic shrimp as an appetiser. We also had a complimentary gazpacho and amuse bouche of clams in black rice with a delicate garnish. The wine selection was strong and appreciated by our friends and my wife enjoyed the sangria. the staff about the evening's selections. I visited the restaurant and read the menu, but was most impressed by the look of the space and the friendly interactions with. We were a party of six looking for a Friday dinner Trip Adviser rated it highly and it was close to our hotel.
